Commemoration of Masacre Lakudala and Uaibitái in Quelicai-Baucau

On the 22th of November 2019, ACbit together with National Victim Association organized women survivors, local authority and the community commemorated Massacre Lakudala and Uaibitái which was happened 41 years ago in Quelicai-Baucau. Through walking tour and visited all the historical site that Indonesian Military used to do sexual violence and tortured to the women and man survivors during the occupation, and also celebrated with mass and put the flower in Cemetery Lakudala. This activity was supported by UN Women Asia and the Pacific and Embassy of Japan in Timor-Leste.
