Survivor TV Talk show – Reflections from 20 years after Independence

March 15 2019, ACbit organized Talk Show in TV-E to talk about the situation of the women victims of past conflicts from 1975-1999 after 20 years later at the time of independence. All the speakers were the Director of ACbit (Ms. Maria Manuela Leong Pereira), Member of the National Parliament Committee F (Ms. Helana Martins Belo) Coordinator of Victims Association (Mr. Domingos Pinto de Ajaujo Moniz), survivor from Baucau (Ms. Maria de Fatima) and the moderator was Juvinal Dias Guterres. The objective of this activity is to have a space for dialogue to express the problems that faced by victims of past conflict and victims of violence in current situation, discussion for the solution to address their problems and also talk about the policies for victims from past conflict especially women victims. This activity was supported by UN Women Asia and the Pacific, Embassy of Japan in Timor-Leste.
