August 23 2019, Dialogue activities regarding the situation of victims of the past 20 years after the referendum were held in the HAK hall. A survivor from Maliana stated “after my husband died, I brought a cart to buy vegetables and sell again to send my children to school. I am sad because the perpetrators who killed my husband are still free. This activity was supported by Hivos, UN Women, Japanese Embassy, AJAR and UAF in Timor Leste.
