Suai Massacre Commemoration 2018

On the 6th of September 2018 to commemorate the Saui massacre, ACbit worked with UN Women Asia and the Pacific, the Embassy of Japan in Timor-Leste and the Victims Association Timor- Leste to run a historical tour, where male and female survivors could share their stories with the community. This activity was part of a project to address gender-based violence, inequality and to promote the lessons from the past to young people.
